Meet the Therapist

Chris DiGiovanni, LCSW, CADC
Founder & Lead Therapist

Chris DiGiovanni is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) based in Illinois, with over a decade of experience in mental health and social services. He works with teens and adults from all walks of life, offering therapy that is grounded, practical, and affirming.

After earning his bachelor’s degree from Aurora University in 2011 and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Dominican University in 2015, Chris began his career in hospice care and later transitioned into psychiatric services and outpatient counseling. He has worked in hospitals, community organizations, and private practice—facilitating therapy, substance use assessments, and support groups.

Most recently, Chris served as Clinical Coordinator of Community Housing at Cornerstone Services, overseeing programs that supported individuals experiencing homelessness, many of whom faced co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

His therapy style is trauma-informed and values authenticity, humor, and open-mindedness. Chris provides affirming care for LGBTQIA+ clients and supports individuals working through major transitions, relationship issues, and identity exploration.

Outside the therapy room, Chris enjoys road trips, photography, reading non-fiction, and spending time in nature with his pets and family.
